Rubber molds are the go-to materials when working with metals, because they have to resist both high temperatures and pressure. Since the rubber molds are sturdy, they can be reused multiple times, thus becoming the more economical of the two options when the production quantity is big. Rubber molds are the molds to select when the production quantity is large.
When the production quantity required is low, we prefer to go with silicone molds as they give the best finishing when working with clay, putty, wax and for some cases even metals.
